This new exploit is coming from attackers who are taking advantage of a vulnerability in Windows using infected USB Flash Drives.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">This is also gaining lots of attention since Microsoft just ended support for Windows XP Service Pack 2 only days ago, so that means when a patch is ready, Windows XP SP2 users won’t be receiving it. Users must upgrade to either Windows XP SP3, Vista or Windows 7. However no OS is safe at the moment, this new exploit affects Windows 7 as well, it even affects the Windows 7 Service Pack 1 Beta which was released last week.</div><a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">This exploit seems to be gaining exposure, the Microsoft group responsible for crafting antivirus signatures, has recored 6,000 attempts to infect Windows PC’s as of July 15th. Many were hoping that the new UAC (User Account Control) feature in Vista and Windows 7 would protect their systems, but this exploit manages to over ride even that.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">It’s very easy for users to become infected with this virus as it requires very little little user interaction. Hackers create a malicious “.Ink” file, and all that’s necessary is for the user to view this file in a file manager like Windows Explorer. This nasty little threat even works when “Autoplay” and “Autorun” are disabled. It’s mainly being distributed by USB drives, but it can also be transferred over shared networks.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">As of yet, Microsoft haven’t announced any timeline for patching the zero-day vulnerability, however the next patch Tuesday isn’t due until Aug 10. Hopefully they will come up with a solution before then and push it out to users sooner.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Microsoft have offered a temporary solution for the moment however, but it involves diving into your registry which not many people are keen on. Microsoft said you can block attacks by disabling the display of shortcuts and turning off the WebClient service. It’s not an easy thing for inexperienced users, and it would also make life difficult for launching programs and files via shortcuts.</div>Yudikhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14123174824391355765noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4783584591639347108.post-65398133599680844222010-07-15T08:20:00.000+08:002010-07-15T08:20:00.601+08:00Computer Business is Still Using XP<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHJpshnHuPwV9ezZsx8HizQ6rnBSzRowza7SiSi5sYngB8ZrM8eZg0URP_xGRNdeKSa6qlolR6mf-TnQVeSQ9dV5ylzFs1gxmV9nV_7JGnYxwU5KLSqvJvIFY06mRR3G6Q09Q-CCrbWS3t/s1600/win-xp-startup1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="150" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHJpshnHuPwV9ezZsx8HizQ6rnBSzRowza7SiSi5sYngB8ZrM8eZg0URP_xGRNdeKSa6qlolR6mf-TnQVeSQ9dV5ylzFs1gxmV9nV_7JGnYxwU5KLSqvJvIFY06mRR3G6Q09Q-CCrbWS3t/s200/win-xp-startup1.jpg" width="200" /></a></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">We reported yesterday that Microsoft had extended downgrade rights for Windows XP from Windows 7, but the reason seems to stem from the fact that a reported 74% of work PCs are still running Windows XP.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">This seems odd given that it was also recently reported that 50% of business either have or are ready to upgrade to <a href="http://windos-life.blogspot.com/2010/07/windows-7-goes-to-64-bit-computing.html">Windows 7</a>. So what’s the anomaly and what’s causing the problem?</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The problem is three-fold in the business space. The first hurdle is that installations of Windows 7 will normally come with new PCs and far too many businesses are still tightening their belts and waiting for the ‘green shoots’ of worldwide economic recovery. While PC sales generally are healthy, they are much lower than they would be if the downturn hadn’t happened.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The second reason is the learning curve. While people may be far happier moving to Windows 7 than they were moving to Vista, there is still the cost and time of training staff with the new operating system. One good way around this is to put it off until lots of staff have new PCs at home, so they are either au-fait with it already or can train each other. I know this is a cynical view but it’s quite common.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Finally there’s the ‘major’ stumbling block and this is Windows Server. Ever since Windows Server got a complete overhaul in 2003 it’s been a fantastic server product, Windows Server 2008 makes it even better.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">These server products can help mitigate a great many of the shortfalls of Windows XP, certainly where security is concerned, as the group policy, security policy, patch rollout and monitoring tools are excellent.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">It still remains to be seen where the anomaly between the two figures we’ve seen now fits. Will this 74% figure change soon, especially when Service Pack 1 is released later in the year, or will businesses doggedly stick with Windows XP and the secure Windows Server combination? It’s an interesting year coming for WIndows 7</div>Yudikhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14123174824391355765noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4783584591639347108.post-63197748270351521902010-07-14T08:06:00.000+08:002010-07-14T08:06:46.071+08:00Duo Ducati Optimis<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg97jPrRz2Uj2cRgMkMhRYi9w_72QIXkK7lzUMf_twvvn04DgAS6vetiPj_11pvF60UvNQqVUdTDbW-zRCh7Fl6yS6mPEGapr84VK_GPrCCshlwOG37YKSGB9wnaTfdu-Gf_c_MvCE3mUN0/s1600/ducati.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="110" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg97jPrRz2Uj2cRgMkMhRYi9w_72QIXkK7lzUMf_twvvn04DgAS6vetiPj_11pvF60UvNQqVUdTDbW-zRCh7Fl6yS6mPEGapr84VK_GPrCCshlwOG37YKSGB9wnaTfdu-Gf_c_MvCE3mUN0/s200/ducati.jpg" width="200" /></a></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Duo Marlboro Ducati rider Casey Stoner and Nicky Hayden, have their own beliefs to be successful on the race this weekend at the German GP, Sachsenring circuit.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Sachsenring is a unique character, some extreme corners and parts of a circuit that requires the motor slows, Stoner and Hayden are not made to feel pessimistic. They sure can conquer the circuit with the character of the famous Ducati motorcycle wild and fast.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Casey Stoner has fond memories at the Sachsenring, by becoming a champion in the 125cc class at the 2003 season. Then in MotoGP, Stoner became the fastest in 2008. Nicky Hayden, who had the character to be careful, never been on the podium four times in 2004 until 2007.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">"We had a good record when the race at Sachsenring. I got my first podium here and I always want to repeat it. I have more confidence about the race later. Everything has worked quite well and we should get even higher speeds, "explained Stoner as quoted MotoGP.com, Wednesday (14/07/2010).</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">"Me and mechanical've tried several ways to get full speed, the results are quite as packed in the race later. You need the right setting for melibas motor angle at Sachsenring, "continued the origin of this Australian drivers.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">While Nicky Hayden did admit if the Sachsenring circuit that must be conquered by using the technique of high-class racing. Hayden katakter quite memorized and ready to welcome back the victory.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">"Sachsenring is very short. In the first part, requires high technique and patience. When you make a mistake can be fatal. For the beginning racer gears can only menggunalan 1.2, 3 and 4. It's like riding a car in the park! When she walked into the teeth of five, you've seen a sharp corner, "said Hayden.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Despite facing a difficult character, but relatively optimistic Hayden can conquer this circuit in Germany. How to race rider of the famous American management this calculation, the plus points for Hayden.</div>Yudikhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14123174824391355765noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4783584591639347108.post-63831547582358693592010-07-13T06:00:00.000+08:002010-07-13T06:00:01.815+08:00<div style="text-align: justify;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOOKEB8Vt0fInpkjGOg90AF3wH2FpLnEbJ2jg-S4VeT6Vgp1cwb39KsDRur44D4S1p74ETaBohiGt2Wf33XgaxX4ZIBVQtJ9E7alsouR8SavqvC8Y-0soynVAWy79oXiuxRWQs29f0bPSV/s1600/aguero.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="110" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOOKEB8Vt0fInpkjGOg90AF3wH2FpLnEbJ2jg-S4VeT6Vgp1cwb39KsDRur44D4S1p74ETaBohiGt2Wf33XgaxX4ZIBVQtJ9E7alsouR8SavqvC8Y-0soynVAWy79oXiuxRWQs29f0bPSV/s200/aguero.jpg" width="200" /></a></div><br />
Chelsea's chances to get Sergio Aguero increasingly wide open. Atletico Madrid striker is making a statement ready to become the new occupants Stamford Bridge.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Since appearing impressive with Atletico, Aguero was much desired European elite clubs, and Chelsea to be one of the most serious club coach get in-law of Argentina, Diego Maradona.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Now, Chelsea has a great opportunity to get Aguero, 22 years after the young striker admits ready to graze along a big club that will give him a chance to get a lot of titles. Atletico camp was declared ready to take it off if given a tempting offer.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">"If the bids come from the right club and Atletico match with the proposed offering, then the transfer process can be realized," Aguero said as quoted by the Daily Star, Monday (12/07/2010).</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">"Of course, Chelsea is appealing to me, considering that one of them meruipakan persepak bolaan strong teams in Europe," said Argentina's national team striker.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">"They have already shown interest in the transfer market every summer until now, and they have shown themselves that they are capable of reaching at least one trophy in each season," he continued.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">"As a player, you have to think of your financial factors in the future. But, in reality, most elite clubs of Europe have made me as their prime target, "added Aguero.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">"What I must now consider is the club where I can win many trophies and I know that I can win many titles with Chelsea. You see the players that Chelsea have, then you certainly would not hesitate about the future, "he said.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Yes, the factor of players indeed be one factor which, according to Aguero would influence a decision. For the case of Chelsea, the former Independiente striker admitted that he was very interested to play with some star players in the Blues squad.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">"To be duet with Didier Drogba is certainly very desirable thing that every player. But not only Drogba, they also have other kinds of top players Frank Lampard, Nicolas Anelka, John Terry or maybe Fernando Torres (another target of Chelsea). <br />
The Windows Blog and other sources have recently published numbers which look very good for the future of both Windows and Microsoft. Their numbers suggest that 64-bit processors are the current trend in computers running Windows 7, which makes sense. According to the chart below, nearly 46% of Windows 7 computers are running the 64-bit flavor of Windows.<br />
<br />
There are a few reasons given for the uptick in 64-bit adoption: the price of RAM has gone down considerably than in past years, nearly all computers sold now come standard with 64-bit capable hardware, Windows 7 64 is the OS option most computers now offer, the software and hardware compatibility factor is now a non-issue, for the most part.<br />
<br />
We knew it was coming, but I didn’t think it would be Windows 7 that would have been the Windows to finally move most users to the newer processor technology. Keep in mind that other companies, namely Apple, are also shipping iMacs and MacBook’s with only 64-bit hardware, so the swing in 64-bit usage was inevitable.<br />
<br />
How about you? Are you still clinging to Windows 7 32-bit or another Windows version with 32-bit capability? What’s your reason for not switching and do you expect to make the leap come Windows 8?Yudikhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14123174824391355765noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4783584591639347108.post-49946669311400156182010-07-10T10:49:00.000+08:002010-07-10T10:49:08.217+08:00Logo World Cup 2014<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-6c5R4ausZpihjMUnPDoupiQ7HZDq83435DT4lVYsmnvutONJfDpaoj57ElpcK9wTWGkHYsxwyP_nNDxv0HYYEBUxve9-P2YRPibxVG2jrU-rHBZ8CEe4ff4OXO9EvL-URfbunH2nY-dH/s1600/logoworldcup2014.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-6c5R4ausZpihjMUnPDoupiQ7HZDq83435DT4lVYsmnvutONJfDpaoj57ElpcK9wTWGkHYsxwyP_nNDxv0HYYEBUxve9-P2YRPibxVG2jrU-rHBZ8CEe4ff4OXO9EvL-URfbunH2nY-dH/s200/logoworldcup2014.jpg" width="137" /></a></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

Understandably, the Provincial Government in the 2013 Bali Bali targets must be free of plastic waste.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">"It has become common commitment Bali Provincial Government together with districts and municipalities throughout Bali and other stakeholders and the entire community to realize that Bali is clean, healthy, beautiful, green, and sustainable. The first thing that became the focus is memebaskan Bali from plastic waste in 2013 , "said Environment Agency Head of Bali Province AA Gede Alit Satrawan.</div><a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Joint commitment is really not kidding. Currently Bali provincial government will issue a draft regulation concerning waste treatment system that included the prevention and reduction of plastic waste in the whole of Bali. This means that plastic waste is currently a major focus for this small island of Bali which was not met by various types of plastic that breaks down or destroyed only bias in the period 500 to 1000 years into the future.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Ranperda who will become new law will come into force early in 2011. In the new law will be regulated on various matters relating to the reduction of plastic waste. Among other things, any business activity that produces the plastic then the employer is obliged to conduct its own handling of plastic produced, budget handling, including penalties.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">While waiting for these regulations, the current provincial government of Bali has conducted several campaigns to the general public, shopping malls, traditional markets, and shops to reduce plastic bag. Pemmerintah also will print thousands of notices, stickers, banners, to be distributed and pasted from temples, churches, mosques, schools, markets, malls, terminals, ports, and various other crowded locations.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

Paul, the octopus forecasters, now has become public enemy number one in Germany. He is considered responsible for the elimination of the German Der Panzer-nickname-from the World Cup in 2010. In fact, before Paul was so flattered and honored residents of Germany. Therefore, predictions about the German trip in South Africa (South Africa) is always true.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">He was regarded as a lucky talisman. But, it's also because the majority of Paul's prediction is more pro-German. Paul phenomenon began to rise after the exact prediction of Serbia defeated Germany in the allowance for Group D. Then, Paul continues to predict the forces Joachim Loew as a winner and his prediction proved correct.<br />

</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Miroslav Klose et al subvert Ghana 1-0, England 4-1, and crushed Argentina 4-0. However, the "disaster" comes when the German defeat against Spain in the semifinal. Because, before Paul predict victory Spain with "choosing" La Furia Roja flag. At first many thought it was a mistake. The reality is not like that.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Spain who won the match thanks to the single goal Carlos Puyol. This is what is causing the anger of Germans because judge Paul treason because they are more supportive of State Matador. Because of aversion to Paul, a resident of Germany Oberhausen want it finished off the aquarium's mascot. It is not only expressed directly, also via a comment in a number of social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Many had suggested that Paul's fried, baked, made seafood salad, or paella. "Quite a lot of comments asking Paul was thrown into a tank containing sharks as food," wrote Sydney Morning Herald. "Essentially, they want Paul to die," continued the article. Hatred of Germans against Paul does just that.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">After watching his favorite team loses, fans sang antigurita more sounds like innuendo and insults. German citizens would not want anymore "hear" the next Paul prophecy. It could be servers, routers, or networking as the knowledge base became more sophisticated so did the need to demonstrate proficiency.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">With the release of Office 2010 Microsoft is extending the certification track to applications. This is not the first time as Microsoft has had certifications for its Office 2003 and 2007 suite. The difference now is that in today’s economy expertise is valued and can make the difference in whether one gets a job or even a job interview.<span class="fullpost">I am a technical trainer for New Horizons in Texas, and I have pushed various certifications and certification tracks to the students that enroll in our program. The MCSE (Networking Engineer), MCSA (networking knowledgeable but not at the engineer level), MCITP (specialized in different technical areas), MCTS (specialized exams), MDPD (programming), are certs that have on more than one occasion have led to job interviews, and employment as well. This even though some students come in with a wealth of technical experience; they weren’t even able to get an interview. But the cert changed that.<br />
<br />
The MOS (Microsoft Office Specialization) cert that Microsoft is touting gives consumers a knowledge base that many didn’t have before, or only skimmed over. Take Excel for instance; many users of Excel have a basic understanding of the spreadsheet program. Their knowledge comes up short on areas of If Statements, and advanced formula construction.<br />
<br />
The MOS certification program is designed to prepare students and professionals for the work force and college. Many high schools are offering MOS training to help students prepare for college or the work force. MOS helps individuals gain mastery of all Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, SharePoint Server, and Project.<br />
<br />
The 2010 MOS certification programs provide three levels of certification: Specialist, Expert and Master. Each successive level requires individuals to master a greater number of programs. Testing is conducted by Certiport, a commercial testing service, at more than 10,000 testing sites in schools and businesses around the world. </span></div>Yudikhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14123174824391355765noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4783584591639347108.post-50534263968548643692010-07-08T08:10:00.000+08:002010-07-08T08:10:04.064+08:00Carles Puyol Bring Spain to Final<div style="text-align: justify;">Spain dominated an absorbing first-half chess match but failed to break the deadlock against a Germany side who had their fair share of chances.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Both teams made one change from their regular line-up: Piotr Trochowski replaced the suspended Thomas Mueller for the Germans while out-of-form Fernando Torres was dropped in favour of Pedro Rodriguez in the Spanish side.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Germany kicked off but immediately and happily surrendered possession as they invited Spain to attack. The cagey opening was halted by an intruder streaking onto the pitch, but it was the European champions who carved out the first real chance of the game on six minutes.<span class="fullpost">Pedro slipped in a sublime through ball to David Villa, who just managed to get a touch to it but it wasn’t enough to trouble an alert Manuel Neuer.<br />
<br />
La Furia Roja continued to camp out inside the German half as Bastian Schweinsteiger and Mesut Oezil provided glimpses of threat on the counter-attack for Die Mannschaft. But it was the Spaniards again who had the next chance after 13 minutes. From a short corner, Andres Iniesta drilled in a cross from the right flank and Carles Puyol stooped low to send a bullet header just over the bar.<br />
<br />
Straight to the other end, an Oezil corner forced Iker Casillas to flap the ball nervously away as Joachim Loew’s side started to enjoy a bit more of composure and possession on the ball. Spain regained control as quickly as they gave it away, although they failed to create any meaningful goalscoring chances.<br />
<br />
In fact, the next opportunity didn’t arrive until the half-hour mark and even then, Xabi Alonso’s 25-yard screamer flew wide of Neuer’s left post. Trochowski then showed how it was done when his left-footed pliedriver from a similar distance forced Casillas to make a brilliant sprawling save.<br />
<br />
Oezil managed to create more panic in the Spain box when he shimmed past two defenders but hesitated when he prepared to pull the trigger as Puyol pinched the ball off him. Vicente del Bosque’s troops finished the half the stronger with Sergio Ramos, Iniesta and Pedro creating openings, but it was Oezil who had a penalty shout turned down right before the whistle after a challenge from Ramos.<br />
Neither coaches made any changes of personnel at the break, but it was Germany who looked the more adventurous side in the start of the second period. And it was suddenly Spain who were playing on the counter attack. Pedro bombarded 50 yards down the right wing beating a number of German defenders before pulling the ball back to Xabi Alonso, who could only fire wide despite a clean view on goal.<br />
<br />
Seconds later, Xabi rattles in another humdinger just outside the box after being teed up by Xavi, but again his effort flashed marginally wide.<br />
<br />
La Roja should have taken the lead on 57 minutes when they were presented with a double chance. First, Pedro’s shot on the edge of the box was parried away by Neuer. From the follow up, Iniesta’s pull-back into the middle bounced too far infront of Villa at the backpost. Pedro then dragged his shot wide before Miroslav Klose pummelled an ambitious volley well over at the other end after a poor clearance from Sergio Ramos.<br />
<br />
The flurry of chances sparked the game to life and on 63 minutes, Xabi Alonso curled in a cross to an over-lapping Ramos, who went down under a challenge from Lukas Podolski right infront of goal but the referee only pointed to a goal-kick. Five minutes later, Villa charged past Marcell Jansen on the right channel but his fierce drive from a tight angle was saved by Neuer.<br />
<br />
Germany then came close when Toni Kroos connected with Podolski’s cross but his soft half volley at the far post was blocked by Casillas. The Nationalelf were on the ascendecy but on 72 minutes, they were stung when Spain rocketed into the lead. Xavi swung in a corner and Carles Puyol steamed in unmarked to thump an unstoppable header past Neuer into the top corner.<br />
<br />
The Germans immediately started pushing forward and it was Spain’s turn to hit their opponents on the counter. With ten minutes to go, La Roja should have wrapped up the semi-final when Pedro was put clean through on goal but opted to dribble his way past Arne Friedrich instead of going for goal or squaring to an unattended Fernando Torres.<br />
<br />
Torres himself then had a chance two minutes from the end but Friedrich robbed the ball off him just as he was about to pull the trigger. Spain were enjoying a nice spell of keep-ball possession inside the German half as the clock ticked down and it was enough for them to hold on for another 1-0 win, but one that secures them a passage into the final of the 2010 World Cup. </span></div>Yudikhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14123174824391355765noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4783584591639347108.post-84159264595273052872010-07-07T21:44:00.001+08:002010-07-07T22:05:54.615+08:00Bali Nature<div style="text-align: justify;">Bali is also blessed with a beautiful nature. Endless sand beaches envelope most of Bali's shores, where silvery waves come home to. Tall cliffs border the eastern shores. Volcanic mountains crown the center of Bali, home to Gunung Agung (Mount Divine), the sacred abode of the gods and the goddesses. Green forests stretch on from east to west of the northern part of Bali, nurturing numerous flora and fauna that can only be found here. <span class="fullpost">Bedugul<br />
When the heat and humidity gets to you, why not escape to Bedugul. Bali's highland retreat tucked into the crater of an extinct volcano 1400 metres above sea level.<br />
<br />
Here three lakes provide everything from recreation to the water for springs, rivers and rice fields below. Lush pine forests seem to create a freshness in the air. Bedugul is known for the quality of its fruit, vegetables and flowers. <br />
Kintamani<br />
The spectacular mountainous region around Kintamani with its deep crater lake and bubbling hot springs, make this region a must to visit. Lake Batur is the largest lake in Bali and the region offers some of the most spectacular views to be found anywhere on the island. Lake Batur also provides water for an underground network of streams and springs across the southern slopes of the mountain.<br />
<br />
The district is the earliest known kingdom in Bali, dating from the tenth century. The evenings get cool up here but it's well worth the stay overnight to climb the volcano and watch the sunrise. Many cheap losmens are available here. </span></div>Yudikhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14123174824391355765noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4783584591639347108.post-25444144384761340142010-07-07T13:22:00.000+08:002010-07-07T13:22:16.296+08:00Forlan Disappoint<div style="text-align: justify;">Uruguay captain Diego Forlan declared himself disappointed following his sides 3-2 defeat to Netherlands in the semi-final of the World Cup in Cape Town.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Forlan had canceled out Giovanni van Bronckhorst's stunning opener to leave the sides level at the break but la Celeste eventually fell to two second half goals from Wesley Sneijder and Arjen Robben despite a late effort from Maximiliano Pereira.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">"The truth is that I have a bitter taste, because there were more difficult games than this," he was quoted as saying by El Pais before revealing that he was not in ideal shape for the game.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: justify;">"I was not contributing anything to bother them so it was better that another player came in. I was tired. For a team as young as Germany, indeed it is an achievement in itself to have reached as far as the semifinals of the World Cup outside of Europe. <span class="fullpost">Moreover, among the four remaining teams in South Africa, Germany has been by far the most impressive side and have also had the most difficult path to the semis. The group stage was relatively easy, but England in the last 16 was a tough proposition and so was Argentina. However, Die Mannschaft blew away both Fabio Capello's and Diego Maradona's sides, scoring four goals against each. In fact, Germany have scored four goals in three different games in the World Cup so far — it started the campaign with a 4-0 hammering of Australia.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span class="fullpost"> <br />
Germany's football too has been scintillating with players in every position clicking. The defense looks susceptible, but with their midfielders Sami Khedira and Bastian Schweinsteiger protecting the back four and also providing the impetus for attack, the 2006 World Cup semifinalists have been hugely impressive. </span></div>Yudikhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14123174824391355765noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4783584591639347108.post-39008201959418122752010-07-06T21:02:00.000+08:002010-07-06T21:02:00.817+08:00Windows 7 on Android Phone<div style="text-align: justify;">First things first, this isn’t a way to actually get Windows 7 running on an Android phone, that would be silly. Like previous versions of Windows software, there will be new features to discover and play around with, especially in the games department. If you ever wondered what kind of preinstalled games Windows 7 has to offer, then here is your chance to find out.<span class="fullpost">Windows 7 Desktop Games<br />
<br />
Windows 7′s built-in game catalog will come well-stocked with interesting games that help pass the time. Most of these games were brought over from Windows Vista, such as Chess Titans, Hearts, Mahjong Titans and Purble Place. Old-school favorites such as Minesweeper, Solitaire and FreeCell also make a comeback from other Windows versions. The only troubling thing about this new lineup of games is that one is noticeably missing from the picture. For some reason, Inkball, a game that can be found on Windows Vista, is a no-show in Windows 7. But considering that Windows 7 is still close to the release candidate stages, anything can change.<br />
The Windows 7 operating system also comes with Internet games such as Internet Backgammon, Internet Checkers and Internet Spades. These games have been noticeably revamped in comparison to their older predecessors, both in looks and feel. With these internet games, you can square off against human competitors online, with three skill levels that match you to equally skilled opponents no matter where they are on the globe, and if your opponent drops out of the game, the computer picks up where they left off in order to finish the game. You can also choose between different card and background designs, as well as track your win and loss stats.<br />
With all of these fun built in games on hand, you are sure to pass the time away in enjoyment. If you haven’t had enough fun, you can also get more games from Microsoft’s MSN Games website just by clicking on the Play Free Games on MSN Games located in the right hand panel of the Games folder.<br />
<br />
Now you don’t have to be content with just the games that come with the Windows 7 operating system. There are also games you can buy for your computer that are largely compatible for the Windows 7 operating system, depending on the performance of your machine. You can check the second tab located in the right hand panel within the Games folder to briefly check your computer’s overall performance rating, just in case you want to make sure that your machine has what it takes to run your favorite games.</div></span>Yudikhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14123174824391355765noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4783584591639347108.post-75350827236487973062010-07-05T21:00:00.000+08:002010-07-06T14:33:42.498+08:00Windows Embedded Handheld<div style="text-align: justify;">Microsoft recently released Windows Embedded Handheld, a software developed for handheld devices business or enterprise. The first devices that will run this new platform is the Motorola ES400, a device called "enterprise digital assistant" (EDA), which was launched simultaneously with the Anyar platform.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">News that Microsoft launched its platform specifically for handheld devices or mobile-phone enterprise may sound strange. Because, during the year 2009 and then, only about 2.3 million mobile phones are shipped enterprise. This amount is expected to increase, namely more than 4.3 million units. But this estimate to 2014 next year. <span class="fullpost">However, Microsoft seem to see different trends. Handheld device enterprise that the future will be increasingly needed by workers or business people in various fields, all over the world.<br />
<br />
"Windows Embedded Business will be focused to extend Windows features and benefits of cloud computing, to a particular device," said Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer as a new platform was launched in New York, last weekend.<br />
<br />
Windows Embedded Handheld is designed to meet the business needs and improve the productivity of labor. This platform allows users to capture, access and act upon critical business information, where and when they need it.<br />
<br />
"This platform will provide management functions and security of a proven, gives its customers a belief that investment in handheld devices and enterprise business applications will be protected from time to time," said Ballmer.<br />
<br />
The first release with brand platform Windows Embedded Handheld is scheduled for this year as well, and built on the platform of Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system, which is equipped with features management and reliable security.<br />
<br />
Devices that were promised would be planted this software has a function that varies, and can enhance business applications, and user experience through features a touch screen or response movement (gesture). Not to mention their connectivity capabilities for Windows-based PCs, servers and services of his enterprise, is much more improved.<br />
<br />
In addition, Ballmer announced that the Windows Embedded Handheld will also continue to support application development tools, such as Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 and Windows Forms. Platform Windows Embedded Handheld updated based on the technology of Windows 7 (Windows Embedded Compact 7) which will be released in the second half of 2011 to come. </span></div>Yudikhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14123174824391355765noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4783584591639347108.post-299520669064510992010-07-05T08:37:00.000+08:002010-07-06T14:37:28.091+08:00Microsoft About Windows 8 Leaks to Internet<div style="text-align: justify;">TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta - A document sent to the client computer manufacturer Microsoft leaked to the Internet. Documents show the outline of a large project of Microsoft, namely Windows 8.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">In the slides that document are shown in Microsoft's vision for the ecosystem of Windows 8, namely: the targeted computer design, hardware capabilities, and demand that this parameter will be installed on OEM computers. <span class="fullpost">One feature that looks ambitious is Windows Store. This is a store for application software developers who will be easily accessible from Windows or from the Internet.<br />
<br />
This store will handle standard features, such as account management and software updates, providing the ability to replicate applications and their management in a variety of different devices. Targeted competitor is the App Store from Apple.<br />
<br />
Microsoft itself is actually already have the Microsoft Marketplace although not successful. So, odd that when a company based in Redmond, United States, tried again.<br />
<br />
Windows 8 prepared as the successor to Windows 7, which was launched in October last year. His ability has been improved. When the previous Windows 7 not too much to reach the sensor and location-based applications and Windows 8 will be better.<br />
<br />
According to Microsoft, Windows 8 will reach a wider range of sensors. Like GPS, the BTS tower-based positioning, proximity sensor, accelerometer, and a web camera.<br />
<br />
In a document distributed in April did not say when Windows 8 will be launched. However, there are also mentioned about the plan to release Beta versions of Internet Explorer 9 in August.<br />
<br />
Microsoft spokesman declined to comment on the documents and their validity. But analysts said that document, even if true, better known as a mere discourse.<br />
<br />
Section, the Windows 7 just a year old yet. Therefore, there may be Windows 8 is launched before 2012.<br />
<br />
"That document is an effort to get input," said Matt Rosoff, an analyst with Directions on Microsoft. "This is an effort from Microsoft to say what they are thinking." </span></div>Yudikhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14123174824391355765noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4783584591639347108.post-51904641407640227452010-07-04T21:20:00.000+08:002010-07-07T13:47:09.199+08:00German Hummer Argentina<div style="text-align: justify;">Three months ago Argentina coach Diego Maradona approached a postgame interview podium, eyed this young German already sitting there and immediately dismissed 20-year-old Thomas Mueller as a ball boy. He then refused to share an interview stage with him.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Earlier this week, Maradona responded to criticism of his team’s style of play from Germany’s rising star Bastian Schweinsteiger by peering into a camera and in a mock German accent issuing a famed Argentinean political taunt:<span class="fullpost"> “What’s the matter Schweinsteiger? Are you nerrrvoushhh?”<br />
<br />
So there was the “nervous” German delivering a crossing free kick in the third minute of Saturday’s quarterfinals game between the two rivals. And there was the “ball boy” heading it home to start what would be Germany’s 4-0 gutting of Argentina. Later, Schweinsteiger again looked rather calm and collected as he deftly dribbled through the confused Argentina defense to set up an embarrassingly easy third goal.<br />
<br />
Schweinsteiger would be named man of the match. Mueller would leave to rousing cheers.<br />
<br />
And Diego Maradona, he of the mouth that never stops yapping, was left alone, mumbling in misery as he paced in front of the bench during the final minutes of this historic beat down.<br />
<br />
This was annihilation. This was humiliation. And this was an epic reversal of fortunes – these two young Germans doing the impossible: turning Diego Maradona completely upside down.<br />
<br />
“This is the most disappointing moment in my life,” Maradona said in a humbled press conference. “This is really like a kick in the face. I have no more energy for anything.”<br />
<br />
Like a punctured soccer ball, all the air, all the life had been sucked out of the flashy, sassy Argentines. Their star, Lionel Messi, was a mess, reduced to an apologetic, crying postgame dressing room lump, bounced from the tournament without registering a goal.<br />
<br />
The nation’s confident fans – bolstered when rival Brazil was upset Friday – had come out by the thousands only to shuffle from the stadium in silence with German victory songs ringing in their ears.<br />
<br />
And, mostly, there was Maradona, who had made every move with supreme confidence and unapologetic flair. Mueller and Schweinsteiger were nothing special – the guy gets into fights with everyone, starting with Pele and working his way down. It’s part of his charm. It defines his daring ways.<br />
<br />
In these young German stars of this young German team, though, Maradona found his match. They were willing to talk back at him. Mueller, who now has four goals in this World Cup, noted that things had changed from the teams’ March friendly, which Argentina won 1-0. This week, he said he wasn’t afraid of a postgame fight (a la the 2006 World Cup quarterfinal between these two teams) as long as Germany won.<br />
<br />
The 25-year-old Schweinsteiger, meanwhile, boldly engaged the Argentine coach, continuing to fill the role of leader on a youthful team whose captain, Michael Ballack, had to miss the World Cup with an ankle injury.<br />
<br />
“I love to take on the strongest, to be honest with you,” Schweinsteiger said in admitting he preferred to play Spain in Wednesday’s semifinal but saying so much more. It was, of course, a Maradona kind of line, one that that might fire up Paraguay should it, and not Spain, advance.<br />
<br />
“They are fearless,” German coach Joachim Loew said of his team’s many young players. “Not disrespectful, but fearless.”<br />
<br />
And that was the other part. It’s one thing to take on Maradona in a talk-fest. It’s another to storm his team on the pitch. The game changed forever in that second minute, when Mr.-Are-You-Nervous passed to the Ball Boy who headed it in to give Germany a 1-0 lead. From there the Germans sat back, double-teamed Messi and made dangerous counter attacks.<br />
<br />
“We knew they were very dangerous on set pieces,” Maradona said shaking his head. “The first set piece they had … I don’t know. … We gave Germany lots of good ideas. … They had lots of ideas. Ideas they didn’t have before.”<br />
<br />
The Germans weren’t much for gloating. Their coach, Loew, said they tend to leave their excitement in the dressing room, what with the stakes so high. But it’s human nature for them to watch the hunched figure of Diego Maradona explain the pain they had just inflicted on him.<br />
Germany's Bastian Schweinsteiger responded to Maradona's taunts by earning the man of the match honor.<br />
(Clive Mason/Getty Images)<br />
<br />
“Just complete sad[ness],” he said. “The day I stopped playing football was similar. This sadness is very strong. It’s tough. It’s tough because … we all had this goal, this dream. And we were just thinking of winning over Germany and the opposite happened.<br />
<br />
“I lived through this in [the 1982 World Cup] as a player. But I was a boy and I didn’t really realize the importance of things today. Today, I am 50 years old in October, and I am mature.”<br />
<br />
Down the hall the Germans, so many still what Maradona would call “boys,” were still reliving Schweinsteiger’s impossible slalom run through the Argentinean defense before passing to Arne Friedrich for an easy knock in.<br />
<br />
“The way he set up Friedrich to score a goal was absolute second to none,” Loew said. “You couldn’t play any better. He went through three, four, five players then pretends to play a pass and then passes it back.<br />
<br />
“He was fabulous,” Loew added. “He was basically the lynch pin in every attack we had.”<br />
<br />
There was nothing to it, Schweinsteiger smiled. It was a team effort he said. “I can only be good if the team is good,” he noted.<br />
<br />
Oh, the team is good, eviscerating world powers England and Argentina in two knockout round games by a combined score of 8-1, pushing to the cusp of unexpected history and, of course, sucking the life out of an old soccer icon along the way.<br />
<br />
From the ball boy on up, no one’s nervous in Germany. Delivering an emphatic comeuppance tends to foster the precise opposite emotion. <br />

</div><div style="text-align: justify;">In order to use an object, you must be aware of it. A window makes itself known using two types of representations: an icon and/or a frame.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The Icon Representing a Window</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">An icon is a picture used to identify a program or another type of object on the computer. As such, the small pictures that appear on the computer desktop are called icons. Besides the desktop, there are many other places where you will see icons when using the computer.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
<br />
<span class="fullpost"></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;">There are two entities that mainly need to interact with icons:</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">* As a person using the computer, icons allow you to familiarize with the various programs that are installed in a computer. Every application or every category of application has its own icon. This is easily possible because every person who creates an application has the possibility of providing a special icon for that particular application.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">* The operating system also has an interior mechanism to identify an icon or a type of icon and associate it with a particular application or a series of applications of the same type.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Microsoft Windows ships with various icons for its own use. For example, every version of Microsoft Windows ships with a special icon for the My Computer program. There is also a special icon for Recycle Bin, etc.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The sizes of icons are standardized and they should not have just any random dimensions. For example, the icons on the desktop are 32x32 pixels. Sometimes, the icons display in a 16x16 dimension.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Practical Learning: Using Icons</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">1. Start the computer</div><div style="text-align: justify;">2. To see some icons, on the Taskbar, click Start, position the mouse on (All) Programs</div><div style="text-align: justify;">3. Notice that each program is represented by an icon. Notice also that all menu items that have an arrow use the same type of icon used on Accessories. These are called Program Groups</div><div style="text-align: justify;">4. Position the mouse on Accessories and click Windows Explorer. If you are using Windows 98 and you don't see Windows Explorer, look for it in the list under Accessories (not in the arrow menu from Accessories)</div><div style="text-align: justify;">5. On the left side of the window, click My Computer. Notice that it has a small icon on its left</div><div style="text-align: justify;">6. On the main menu of the window, click View -> Icons or View -> Large Icons</div><div style="text-align: justify;">7. Notice that the icons on the right side are big:</div><div style="text-align: justify;">8. Right-click an empty area on the right side, position the mouse on View and click List or click Small Icons</div><div style="text-align: justify;">9. Notice that the icon on the upper-left section of the window, the icons in the left frame, and those in the right frame are the same size</div><div style="text-align: justify;">10. To close the window, on the main menu, click File -> Close</div><div style="text-align: justify;"></div>Yudikhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14123174824391355765noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4783584591639347108.post-20467523650946974932010-05-27T21:00:00.000+08:002010-05-27T21:00:08.624+08:00Night life in Bali<div style="text-align: justify;">Night life in Bali starts late, which means around midnight. Many visitors wonder where crowds of expats suddenly come from around 1:00 in the morning – even when all of Kuta has been very quiet during the whole evening, the IN-places often become crowded after midnight.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">There's a simple explanation: during the early evenings many of Bali's night owls either still work, visit friends at home, or simply sleep. Most of them visit pubs, bars, or discos only in the early morning hours. Therefore, if you plan a night out don't start your dinner too early. Between 9:00 p.m. and midnight there are not many places we can recommend.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span class="fullpost">Visitors looking for company don't need to worry. Wherever you go in Sanur and the Kuta area, there are many other single travellers with the same problem around – day and night. In Bali's discos you'll meet also many "kupu kupu malams" ("night butterflies" or working girls) and young boys who compete with the females and service all sexes. All taxi drivers know the more popular karaoke bars and massage parlours in Kuta and Denpasar, and the various "Houses of ill Repute" in Sanur's narrow back lanes.<br />
<br />
As reported in the BALI travel FORUM: "Prostitution is illegal in Bali. However, like in many countries, everyone turns a blind eye. Many girls can be found in nightclubs and bars in most areas. They look usually just like the girl next door, albeit with a bit more make up on, and they usually dress to please the eye. For the most part, they are gentle, easy to be with, and a lot of fun if you want to dance, drink and have a little fun with. Most will be yours for the whole night for about 500,000 Rupiah although prices range from 200,000 Rupiah to 1,500,000 Rupiah and more – depending on the season, the time of night and the situation".<br />
<br />
SANUR & NUSA DUA<br />
<br />
Some quite popular places in Sanur are the BORNEO PUB on Jalan Danau Tamblingan and the TROPHY PUB in front of the Sanur Beach Hotel. Both, however, close around 1:00 a.m.<br />
<br />
The discos and pubs in Nusa Dua's 5-star hotels are often rather empty. They are mostly frequented by those visitors who stay in-house and are too tired to make the 30 minutes drive to Kuta.<br />
<br />
THE "KUTA" AREA<br />
<br />
Everybody looking for some action and fun in the evening goes to "Kuta" which nowadays means the area extending about 4 miles or 7 kilometers North from the original village of Kuta and includes now Legian, Seminyak and even Basangkasa. Here are most of the better entertainment places offering EVERYTHING single male or female visitors as well as couples might be looking for.<br />
<br />
There are several places such as CASABLANCA etc. – down-market open-air pubs and very noisy discos full of stoned Aussies courting Javanese "Kupu Kupu Malams". PEANUTS Discotheque on Jalan Raya Legian at the Jalan Melasti corner (about the border between Kuta and Legian) has been re-opened very soon after it was gutted by a fire. The huge (air-conditioned) dance floor is often crowded, guests are a mix of locals and younger foreign visitors.<br />
<br />
Closer to the center of Kuta you find the BOUNTY SHIP with a noisy, over-air-conditioned disco in the basement and the re-built PADDY'S not far from the original PADDY'S. Much more "IN" nowadays is the newer M-BAR-GO which features really good music and a better crowd than most other places. SKY GARDEN is also on the main road and an interesting place to go. The bar is on the top floor, the three storeys below feature all different lounge areas. The menu is huge but the food is often disappointing. When most places close around 2.00 or 3.00 in the morning, night owls of all kinds continue drinking at nearby MAMA'S until sunrise.<br />
<br />
For a somewhat more civilized evening out, you can have dinner and a couple of drinks at the bar at either TJ's or KORI in Kuta, at the open street side bar at NERO Bali right opposite AROMAS Restaurant in Kuta, at the re-built MACCARONI CLUB in Kuta, at MADE'S WARUNG in Basangkasa (see BALI - Restaurants to Enjoy), or at the trendy HU'U Bar & Lounge near the Petitenget temple, LA LUCIOLA and THE LIVING ROOM.<br />
<br />
One of the most "in" venues in Bali is KU DE TA right on the beach adjacent to the Oberoi hotel. This is the place to see and be seen, and from late afternoon there is a DJ providing rather noisy entertainment for Bali's beautiful people. This is a great place to watch Bali's famous sunsets, but expect to pay for a cocktail around US$10 and more.<br />
<br />
Something more outrageous and only for open-minded people are the HULU CAFE shows in Garlic Lane between Jalan Padma and Jalan Melasti in Kuta/Legian, a place which called itself the "only real gay bar in all of Bali" with drag shows starting at 11:00 p.m. three times per week. The performances are actually kind of funny! Since the original HULU CAFE burnt down in 2008, the shows are now performed at 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at the BALI BEACH SHACK in the same lane<br />
<br />
You'll find a large and quite popular HARD ROCK CAFE right at the beginning of Kuta's beach road with live music from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. Expect to find many singles of all kinds here looking for company. If you think this is too noisy, too crowded, or the air-conditioning too cold for you, try the CENTER STAGE at the HARD ROCK RESORT located in the back of the CAFE. As the name implies, the band performs on a raised stage in the middle of the huge round lobby bar until 11:00 p.m. Both HARD ROCK outlets are expensive by Bali standards.<br />
<br />
The JAYA PUB on the main road in Seminyak features also live music and attracts many Indonesian customers who don't mind the chilling air-conditioning and the sometimes horrible bands and singers. MANNEKEPIS, a pleasant Belgian pub/restaurant right opposite the QUEEN'S TANDOOR in Seminyak, features live Jazz on Thurdays, Fridays and Saturdays and serves good meals at reasonable prices.<br />
<br />
Seminyak's best place to have a drink and some fun after 11 p.m. are nowadays probably OBSESSION World Music Bar and SANTA FEE Bar & Grill, Jalan Abimanyu (also known as Gado Gado Road or Jalan Dhyana Pura). Life music, reasonably priced cocktails and the friendly girls attract many visitors until the early hours. Other popular night spots nearby in the same street are SPY BAR, LIQUID, Q BAR and MIXWELL ("for the alternative lifestyle"), SPACE and THE GLOBE. New bars and "Chill-Out Lounges" are opening all the time, and most of them feature DJ's and/or live music on certain nights. Just walk down the road and check them out !<br />
<br />
Later, from 2:00 a.m., it's party time at the SYNDICATE, BACIO and DOUBLE SIX, a large open-air disco with several bars, big dance floor, and many tables. All three are located next to each other on the beach in Seminyak and charge an entrance fee of 30,000 to 100,000 Rupiah (depending on the day) for which you get a voucher for a free drink. Here and in nearby DEJA VU and LA VITA LOCA you'll find most of Bali's night owls drinking and dancing the night away until 4:30 a.m. or so. (The legendary GADO GADO Disco has been re-converted into a restaurant.)<br />
<br />
Also, watch out for notices and small posters in Kuta and Seminyak announcing special events such as Full Moon Parties, House Warming Parties, Body Painting Parties, etc, etc. If these "parties" are announced to the public (even if only by word-of-mouth), they are open for everybody. You'll have to pay for your drinks, therefore, don't be shy.<br />
<br />
Have fun! </span></div>Yudikhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14123174824391355765noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4783584591639347108.post-74240376322911317842010-05-27T10:43:00.000+08:002010-05-27T10:43:19.022+08:00Limewire For Windows XP – Download Limewire Pro Ultra Posted<div style="text-align: justify;">While the rage may be Windows Vista currently, you should be pleased to learn that if you have not upgraded yet and still use Windows XP that there are still many options available for you if you want a reliable downloading service. </div><div style="text-align: justify;">The announcements come a day after the company laid out its seven-year goal to own 50% of middleware deployments using JBoss to anchor platforms for portals, SOA, and application servers and services. Red Hat said its open source SOA platform would incorporate innovation derived from an array of open source projects offered on JBoss.org, three of which have just been introduced.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span class="fullpost"><br />
The three projects are Black Tie, which will create a transaction engine to integrate or replace legacy transaction monitors, specifically Tuxedo, with the JBoss.org Transactions project, JBoss DNA, a registry for network services and RHQ, an SOA management platform that will eventually support both JBoss and Fedora platforms.<br />
<br />
The SOA Platform already incorporates components that started out as open source projects, including JBoss ESB, JBoss jBPM and JBoss Rules.<br />
<br />
ESB provides application and service integration, mediation, transformation and registry technology; jBPM adds service orchestration and workflow; while Rules includes management and integration of business policy and rules, as well as, content-based routing that relies on rules.<br />
<br />
Red Hat is following the same model it has for its Linux OS development. Court innovation among the vast Fedora open source project community and then tap the results for inclusion in Red Hat Enterprise Linux where it can be stabilised and supported.<br />
<br />
"We want to be disruptive with our innovation, but not disruptive in production" environments, said Sacha Labourey, vice president of engineering middleware at Red Hat.<br />
<br />
The SOA platform is designed to provide infrastructure to support SOAs, and application and business-process integration. The platform combines enterprise application integration, business process and rule management and event-driven architecture technologies. Red Hat officials say the platform is architected to support users involved in small-scale integration projects to full-blown SOA infrastructure deployments.<br />
<br />
Red Hat has taken on a number of partners to complement its efforts, including Active Endpoints, Amberpoint, SeeWhy, SOA Software, Vitria Technology, Information Builders and iWay Software.<br />
<br />
Red Hat said its Black Tie project would kick off in 60 days. The JBoss DNA project, the first in a series of SOA governance projects, is slated to begin in 30 days with more projects to be announced in 60 days.The RHQ project is already up and running.<br />
<br />
Craig Muzilla, vice president of the middleware business unit, said it was hard to say when commercial products would spring from the projects, but he said users could look for results by year-end.<br />
<br />
BlackTie will add C, C++ and mainframe compatible transaction capabilities to the JBoss.org Transactions project. The project will focus on emulating transaction-processing monitor application programming interfaces, and providing open source based legacy services that include security, naming, clustering and transactions.<br />
Red Hat said the project would support the ATMI programming interface to ease migrations. The Black Tie project is derived from technology from Ajuna, which JBoss acquired in 2005 before being bought by Red Hat.<br />
<br />
With its governance project, Red Hat hopes to set the tone for open source SOA management. JBoss DNA, a metadata repository and UDDI registry, is the kick-off project for what will be a number of management components, according to Muzilla. The project is based on technology Red Hat acquired when it bought MetaMetrix in April 2007.<br />
<br />
Red Hat also unveiled it RHQ management project, which it said would serve as the code base for the JBoss Operations Network v2.0, which is due to ship in the first half of this year. The Operations Network is the management foundation for Red Hat's middleware strategy. The RHQ project aims to develop a common services management platform </span></div>Yudikhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14123174824391355765noreply@blogger.com0
